Ossi Di Seppia - oggettivi contemporanei
The contemporary, conscious inadequacy of humankind in re-establishing a relationship with the natural environment.
Ossi di seppia - oggettivi contemporanei (Cuttlefish bones - contemporary "objectives"). The title plays on the double meaning of the word “objective,” recalling both the concept of the “object” and that of “objectivity.” It aims to draw attention to the conscious inadequacy of human beings in re-establishing a symbiotic relationship with the natural environment, now regarded merely as an object — a container of objects, mostly waste. Objects that the environment does not hide or absorb, but returns to us, like cuttlefish bones left by the waves on the shore. An objective condition that does not allow for multiple points of view.
