(Bounded views)
Views with an end, the impossibility of representing “the whole.”

Far beyond physical delimitations and boundaries—both human and natural—the photographic medium is, by its very nature, incapable of representing the “whole.” The subjective choice of framing at the moment of capture, the compression of the three-dimensional world into a two-dimensional image, its reduction in scale, and the possible removal of its chromatic component are all operations that result in a partial and subjective depiction of what we call “reality.”
The decision to present this project using alternative processes (siderotype) is meant to emphasize the boundaries of these fragments of reality.
