Before the break of day is a visual project created using the cameraless technique of chemigram. It depicts an imaginary, semi-nocturnal mountain landscape, where the first light of dawn slowly emerges, revealing the contours of the peaks through a delicate balance of light and shadow. The work captures a suspended moment between night and day, when darkness gives way to light.
